Awesome infrastructure news for Dartmouth!!
As a Municipal Councillor I advocated for the Burnside Expressway (AKA the Burnside Connector) in our community and to all levels of government. And as a federal Member of Parliament I’ve continued advocating to both Infrastructure Minister Amarjeet Sohi and provincial Minister Geoff MacLellan for the Burnside Connector.
Today the provincial government announced that they’re interested in moving forward with the project! They’ll construct an 8.7km, four-lane, divided Burnside Connector (Highway 107) between Burnside in Dartmouth and Bedford!!
This project will be made possible through federal infrastructure funding along with funding from the province of Nova Scotia.
