Home for Christmas. You know, people are pretty great! Leaving Ottawa for the airport, I discovered that I forgot my cell phone in the Cab. I get to the Air Canada desk and BAM! No phone. The incredible Air Canada attendant, jumps into action, pulls out her cell phone, passes it to me, I start calling my cell in hopes that the Cab Driver will hear it in the back seat, she also calls the cab company to report it, she’s on hold while I’m calling (from her cell phone). Finally, the drivers next fare answers the phone and passes it to the driver. Sure enough, he swings around and comes back to the airport and I get my phone and make my flight Home. So when you get frustrated by humanity – remember, people are pretty great!
Sure, maybe dogs are better 😀! Huge thanks to these two individuals who really went the extra mile for someone they didn’t know. Do something nice today, smile, say hello to a stranger, help someone who needs it – and always say Thank you! Happy Saturday folks!
