I was thrilled to bring the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-food, Lawrence MacAulay to the Dartmouth North Community Food Centre. He saw first-hand, the incredible work these folks are doing in our community.
Urban gardens are making a big difference across Canada, and I wanted him to see the wonderful community garden and greenhouse. And of course we chatted about the great programs that are available through the Dartmouth North CFC – community meals, group cooking, workshops, drop-ins, markets and more.
