We gathered at the Sullivan’s Pond Cenotaph to give thanks and to remember those who served and those who paid the ultimate sacrifice to bring peace and stability to those abroad and here at home.

Millions of Canadians have worn the uniform, serving our country in times of war, conflict, and peace.

As family after family arrived at the Cenotaph, it remained so clear that Dartmouth—Cole Harbour remembers.

And as we wore our poppies, standing in silence, we reflected upon our deep gratitude to those who never made it home.

Thank you to everyone who has served, and those who continue to serve.

Lest we forget.
