Every time I visit DASC Industries I’m always blown away by the incredible people here. It’s not just a place that supports folks with intellectual disabilities and those with complex needs, it’s a community.
Did you know that Dartmouth Adult Services Centre (DASC) has been around for more than half a century in Dartmouth? From skills development and community employment, to active lifestyles and leisure programs—DASC is an incredible not-for-profit business and social enterprise.
Huge thanks to DASC Executive Director, Henk van Leeuwen for the great tour and chat. It was super to catch up with so many of my constituents, and even my old neighbour today.
