We all know that global inflation is driving up the cost of living. It’s making it harder for some folks in our community to make ends meet—especially low to modest income seniors.
That’s why Budget 2023 will deliver the New Grocery Rebate.
Delivered through the GST Credit program, the rebate is carefully targeted to those in our community who need it the most, without increasing inflation.
For example:
- Eligible single Canadians without children could receive $234.
- An eligible couple with two children could receive up to $467.
