If there’s one thing I’ve loved about the 2023 North American Indigenous Games, it’s the sportsmanship.

Although competitive, the athletes have been so respectful and kind to one another.

They cheer each other on.

They build each other up.

It’s so good to see.

I watched Team Nova Scotia play Team Newfoundland and Labrador twice, and they each won a game!
