Thrilled to see my friend and fellow Nova Scotian, Sean Fraser appointed as Minister of Housing, Infrastructure and Communities.
He is extremely competent, compassionate, and hardworking. And I know that he shares my passion and desire to see more affordable housing built here at home and in every province and territory across the country.
Although tenancy and housing fall within the jurisdiction of the provinces and territories, we need every order of government to step up and work together to build more homes and make housing more affordable for everyone.
There’s a lot of work to do, and I’m glad Sean’s on it!
This is an incredibly challenging time for countries across the world, and the PM just announced exciting changes to Canada’s federal Cabinet to tackle these challenges head on, and keep Canada moving forward.
