We wanted to take a moment to share a bit about Darren in the office. He is going to be SO embarrassed by this post.
Here’s the thing, we cannot think of someone more kind and compassionate than D. We’ve never seen someone who fiercely loves Dartmouth—Cole Harbour more than him.
He’s also the first to make the coffee and the first to get the dishes done in the office. (Most of the time anyway)
When Darren’s advocating in Ottawa, people listen. He’s not a hyper partisan guy, and he’s someone most people want to work with. He’s like a dog with a bone when it comes to advocating for more funding in Dartmouth—Cole Harbour Can’t stop, won’t stop. Sorry Ministers.
He listens to vinyl (too loud) when he’s reading briefing material and getting ready for meetings or National Defence Committee. 80s music anyone?
And the moment he’s done work in Ottawa, he gets back home as soon as possible to be with Anne, his kids, and our community.
