We gathered at Commodore Park in Dartmouth for Centennial Legion Branch 160’s annual Battle of the Atlantic Ceremony.
Between 1939 and 1945, the Battle of the Atlantic was the longest and continuous battle of World War 2. Thousands of Canadians and Newfoundlanders lost their lives during this lengthy, horrible battle.
It was great to see so many young people in attendance. Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time to organize this ceremony.
We will remember them.
