Important Updates to the Canadian Dental Care Plan

Over the past couple months, I’ve heard from seniors in Dartmouth—Cole Harbour who were able to visit the dentist for the first time in decades.

I am so grateful to see the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) making a meaningful difference in the lives of folks in our community.

Huge thanks to the oral health providers who signed up for the program to provide this important care to those who need it the most.

IMPORTANT CDCP UPDATES

-Starting June 27, applications for the Canadian Dental Care Plan will open for children under 18 and for people 18-64 year old with a valid Disability Tax Credit.

-Starting July 8th, oral health providers everywhere will be able to file claims for plan members without needed to formally participate in the program.
