The economic importance of the Port of Halifax cannot be overstated. It isn’t just a local asset—it’s a powerhouse for our municipality, our province, our region, and our entire country.
Folks here along the shores of Halifax Harbour see the results of our international trade agreements every single day. We see the high volume of container ships coming to and from the port, connecting us to over 150 countries around the world!
