Every year during Pride Season, I think back to that powerful moment in 2016 when we raised the Pride flag on Parliament Hill for the very first time.
It was more than just a flag — it was a message. A message that love is love, that everyone deserves to be seen, and that this country stands for inclusion.
While it may not yet fly in every community, know this: our commitment to the 2SLGBTQI+ community is unwavering.
