Today is Sickle Cell Awareness Day.
I was proud to sponsor Senator Jane Cordy’s legislation to formally recognize this day in Canada.
Because of this, I’ve had the opportunity to meet some truly inspiring advocates and families who are raising awareness and pushing for better care for those living with sickle cell disease.
