Big news! We just named the first wave of nation-building projects that are ready for accelerated approvals through the new Major Projects Office.

On top of these projects, we’ve recognized several exciting concepts that could be truly transformative—including right here in Atlantic Canada: Wind West Atlantic Energy will harness over 60 GW of Nova Scotia’s offshore wind to deliver clean power across Eastern Canada, build critical transmission links, and open the door to renewable exports.

Remember when we passed legislation to unlock prosperity so we can harness our powerful winds?

Like I keep saying, Nova Scotians are ready to reap the rewards of offshore renewable energy—creating good-paying jobs and building a stronger economy.
