After an incredibly busy session, the House of Commons has adjourned for the summer, and I can’t wait to get back to Dartmouth—Cole Harbour!
From chairing early morning meetings of the National Security and Intelligence Committee of Parliamentarians and meeting with stakeholders, to late-night sittings in the House and representing Canada at the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, the days have been very full.
Over the past 14 weeks alone, we’ve passed 21 government bills, including measures to protect Canadians from crime, strengthen our economy, and create jobs.
I’m looking forward to spending more time with family and reconnecting with our community back home.
Whether it’s the Natal Day Parade, Canada Day at Fisherman’s Cove, or one of the many other great events happening throughout the summer, there’s always something special going on in Dartmouth—Cole Harbour!!!
See ya soon!
