Global Spatial Technology Solutions, (known as GSTS) is a Canadian start-up that is developing intelligent digital solutions for the maritime sector by collecting, monitoring and analyzing data from space and ocean-based sensors.
GSTS uses satellite systems to create applications that can be used by shipping lines, port authorities, and safety and security organizations such as the Royal Canadian Navy and the Canada Border Services Agency.
Our Government believes in companies like GSTS, and that’s why we are investing $500,000 to help them create an advanced vessel management tool that will be used to save lives, reduce fuel and emissions, and improve maritime operations and efficiency on a global scale!
This repayable contribution was made through the Regional Economic Growth through Innovation program.
