I just announced an investment of $550,000 so that Cherubini Metal Works Limited can upgrade their equipment to increase productivity, and improve air quality and energy efficiency at their facility. Our investment will also result in the creation of 20 more full-time jobs. And will help them maintain the already 350 full-time positions they have in Dartmouth!
Cherubini’s success story is worth celebrating. Founded back in 1967 by the Cherubini family, the company was purchased by the Gasparetto family, who chose to immigrate to Canada from Italy, and still own Cherubini today. They started small, and worked hard to build Cherubini into the largest steel fabrication company in Atlantic Canada.
