Through our Government’s COVID-19 Immunity Task Force, We’re Supporting an Important Study to Better Understand Which Health Factors Cause Long-Term Care Residents to Experience Severe COVID-19 Outcomes

We know that long-term care facilities have been among the most impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Through our Government’s COVID-19 Immunity Task Force, we’re supporting an important study to better understand which health factors cause long-term care residents to experience severe COVID-19 outcomes. The study will also study vaccine effectiveness in this population.

Dalhousie University’s Dr. Lisa Barrett is leading this study, which will take place here in HRM.
