What a wonderful evening celebrating 30 years of the North Woodside Community Centre!
This place has so much heart. The stories, the laughter, the friendships—it’s all part of what makes this centre so special.
It was great to see so many familiar faces and to hear from folks like Bruce Hetherington, who spoke so eloquently about the Centre’s beginnings. Bruce was the alderman who helped secure the building 30 years ago so it could become the hub it is today.
And a big shoutout to Debbie—who went to school in this very building from Primary to Grade 6 and has now been with the Centre for 30 years. Her dedication (and that of the volunteers and the board) is the reason this place continues to thrive.
Here’s to many more years of community, connection, and celebration at North Woodside!
