Great morning! I met with Tony Mancini to discuss ways we can work together on environmental issues. And I joined the Dartmouth North Association for their regular meeting and we discussed homelessness and affordable housing, in particular. Then I had a chance to catch up with folks at the Greater Burnside Business Association Luncheon!       [...]

Great Village On Main NS morning networking meeting at Station1 Lebanese Kitchen. The restaurant is located at 50 Tacoma Dr in Dartmouth and the food is fantastic!!

I attended a very cool discussion on Electric Vehicles at OneWind in Burnside this week and learned a lot! There is so much activity and excitement around Zero Emission Vehicles (ZEVs). And Canada sold over 14,000 Zero Emission Vehicles last month! Pretty cool. My questions to you. Would you buy an Electric Car? Now? [...]

Great visit to the Ecology Action Centre today! It was great to see their revitalized office first-hand. Their renovation project won numerous awards and was declared the most energy efficient commercial office retrofit in Canada! Through careful design, their building uses 50%+ less energy than before. Well done to everyone involved in this project. I’m looking [...]

They asked thoughtful, engaged questions about what it's like to be a Member of Parliament, and how I was nominated. They asked me why I entered politics, and how politicians get ready for upcoming elections. And of [...]

We honour the women and men who serve and have served, and we honour those who [...]

Good to visit VETS Canada with Minister Lawrence MacAulay today. We recognize the important role stakeholders like VETS Canada play in our communities. It was great to chat with Jim and Debbie about the work they’re doing and how we can keep working together to improve the lives of Veterans.           [...]

This morning I attended the Remembrance Day ceremony at Cole Harbour High. It was a meaningful and well-organized ceremony. These students deeply care about the women and men who served, and those who gave their lives for our peace, stability and freedom. And they care about those who serve today.
