Happy Halloween Dartmouth—Cole Harbour!!
Happy Saturday, folks! I started off the day at the Alderney Landing Farmer’s Market. I love this market so much. From the incredible local produce, to the floral arrangements, spices, and food—there’s something from everyone. After that, I joined the folks at Scotian Shores for the Spooky Downtown Dartmouth Community Clean-up. We cleaned up lots of trash [...]
The Government of Canada’s cabinet has strong Atlantic Canadian representation! Thrilled to see my pal Sean Fraser sworn-in to cabinet today. Congratulations everyone!! You can find the whole list here: https://pm.gc.ca/…/10/26/prime-minister-welcomes-new-cabinet
BAM!! These bagels are good. Have you had a chance to try out the new Bam Bam's Bagels & Fine Foods at 63 Tacoma Dr. yet? These dense and delicious bagels are a great treat. Another wonderful bagel shop in Dartmouth.
Have you tried the Portland Street Creperie yet? Their crepes are delicious and the downtown Dartmouth location is fantastic. It’s a great place to grab a bite to eat before shopping in the retail stores downtown, or hopping on the ferry. Pro tip: you can walk your crepes down to the waterfront and enjoy the [...]
I love the Alderney Landing Farmer’s Market. From clothing to amazing produce and delicious food—there’s something for everyone! So good to kick off the weekend here.

There are more than 20 great Dartmouth-Cole Harbour locations on the map. Last night I had the "Pump up the jam" burger from [...]

Over the weekend I attended the Portland Estates Community Spirit Celebration and Max Thomas Memorial Tribute event. Watching the P.E.C Scouts and Max’s friends plant a tree in his honour was beautiful. I’m told that Max loved the outdoors, and loved this park space. Portland Estates has so much community spirit. And this event [...]
