Wow, what a BIG day at the Abenaki Aquatic Club!
We celebrated Abenaki’s Michelle Russell as she heads to Paris for the 2024 Summer Olympics.
Abenaki is the club with a big heart and now it’s home to an Olympian who inspires others. Michelle reminded all the young paddlers that they can dream big and pursue massive goals!
Abenaki is a huge part of Dartmouth—Cole Harbour and there’s a real sense of togetherness and community here.
Back in 2022, I delivered over $300,000 to help build their new boat house and I’m so glad to see it completed.
Community volunteers built the original building over 50 years ago, and I know this new boat house will carry on their legacy and dreams for this special place.
