Meet Jesse, this summer she’s been coordinating events for Village On Main NS. Her passion for events and great attitude has made a big difference for Main Street’s Community Improvement District.
The Canada Summer Jobs program provides funding to not-for-profit organizations, public-sector employers and small businesses to create employment for young people aged 15–30 years who are full-time students intending to return to their studies in the next school year.
It’s important that young Canadians have access to meaningful work from the start of their careers, and the Government of Canada is giving them the opportunity to do just that through the Canada Summer Jobs program.
