Canadians are deeply proud of the women and men of the Canadian Armed Forces. And folks here in Dartmouth-Cole Harbour and across Nova Scotia are intrinsically connected to CF bases, CAF members and their families.

Our hearts ache, collectively, for those lost, and those affected by this tragedy.

To the Members at 12 Wing Shearwater, aboard the HMCS Fredericton, and to all those serving here at home and abroad, please know that we are grateful for what you do each and every day, and we’re thinking of you especially in this time of sorrow.
