Each year on Remembrance Day, more and more people gather in the park that bears the name of Petty Officer Second Class Craig Blake.
What began as a small ceremony has grown into a moving community tradition, a testament to the lasting impact Craig had on everyone who knew him, and to the deep respect this community continues to hold for his service and sacrifice.
We remember a father, a husband, a coach, a friend, and a proud member of the Royal Canadian Navy Fleet Diving Unit (Atlantic).
We remember Craig Blake for his courage, his kindness, and his unwavering dedication to others.
This gathering each year is a powerful reminder of what Remembrance Day truly means.
Dartmouth–Cole Harbour remembers Craig Blake.
Lest we forget.
