2017 is shaping up to be a amazing year with Canada 150 – but it could become even better!

Since your Discovery Pass isn’t limited to just national parks, I recommend that you head up to one of the bluffs overlooking the harbour to see York Redoubt– the view is breathtaking.
Ever notice that tiny island when you ferry or drive across the harbour? It’s Georges Island and it’s super neat. Although Georges Island is generally closed to the public you can make your way there for special events! Finally, I would be remiss not to encourage you to visit the Halifax Citadel in all of its glory. Despite the uphill journey through the city to reach it, the Citadel’s incredible historic architecture and design make it a must-see.
