We had an excellent meeting with the Canadian Association of Physician Assistants where we discussed how PAs can help improve access to healthcare and play integral roles on healthcare teams in Nova Scotia.
Then we headed over to meet with nurses from across Nova Scotia at the Nova Scotia Nurses’ Union.
I truly appreciated these incredible nurses taking time out of their day to share difficult stories with us about the staff shortages and burn out they’re facing in the workplace.
We heard about what’s working in the province, what’s not, and we discussed possible federal solutions.
