Do you take your kids to the Farm??
Over the weekend I stopped by the Cole Harbour Heritage Farm Museum for their “Feed the Farm” event.
This fundraiser is in its 4th year and helps them maintain their farm animal program!
“The Farm believes in the value of keeping farm animals in the public eye; for education, interpretation and enjoyment. We also believe in the importance of spreading awareness of these animals’ natural behaviours and personalities. This is made possible by ensuring access to adequate space and fresh air, play and stimulation, comfortable quarters, optimum nutrition and the company of their own kind. Funds raised through this program enable us to continue to build this awareness.”
