Happy Pride from the flag raising ceremony at the Bedford Institute of Oceanography in Dartmouth

For too long Canada’s LGBTQ2 public servants were persecuted and often fired just for being who they are.

That makes flag raising ceremonies at places like the Bedford Institute of Oceanography in Dartmouth particularly important.

We need to keep working hard to continue breaking down systemic barriers and building a society where everyone has equal rights and opportunities to succeed!!
