Here in Mi’kma’ki we are celebrating Treaty Day which also marks the start of Mi’kmaq History Month.

Today we celebrate the Peace and Friendship Treaties signed between the Crown and the Mi’kmaq people. And we recognize that in Nova Scotia we are all treaty people.
