This is great news but we have to keep going.

We know that smart measures like removing the GST from purpose-built rentals is getting more homes built, faster.

But I can’t wait to see Budget 2024 pass, ensuring more affordable housing is built and protected.

I’m extremely excited for the $1.5 billion Canada Rental Protection Fund.

It will provide grants and loans to help non-profit organizations buy units and buildings to preserve affordable rent prices long-term. It’s a game changer!
