I Strongly Encourage Qualifying Commercial Landlords to Consider Applying for the Canada Emergency Commercial Rent Assistance (CECRA) Program to Assist their Small Business Tenants

I am strongly encouraging qualifying commercial landlords to consider applying for the Canada Emergency Commercial Rent Assistance (CECRA) program to assist their small business tenants.

Although the landlord/tenant relationship falls within the jurisdiction of the provincial and territorial governments, we’re working with them to provide the opportunity of rent relief for small businesses. We need small businesses across Canada to stay afloat as we work to get through this crisis together.
