Thrilled to vote in support of Bill C-355.

This important legislation will put an end to the live export of horses from Canada to foreign countries to be slaughtered for human consumption.

Folks like Jann Arden, and so many of my constituents across Dartmouth—Cole Harbour have been vocal and steadfast supporters of this important cause and I am pleased to stand with them.

Thank you to my colleague, Tim Louis for sponsoring this important legislation! I remain hopeful that C-355 will move swiftly through Parliament and become law in Canada.
