I am thrilled to deliver over $11 million in funding to build 45 homes for seniors and persons with disabilities right here in Dartmouth!
Main Street Centre, a seven-story mixed-use development, will include affordable housing, supports for persons with developmental disabilities, and services to support seniors aging in place.

Affirmative Ventures’ incredible social enterprises will have a home there too!

Today’s announcement is more than dollars and units — we’re building homes here in Dartmouth—Cole Harbour.

We’re delivering this funding to strengthen our community and ensure that seniors and persons with disabilities can live and thrive in a home that’s adapted to meet their needs. A home that’s near transit, near amenities, and part of our community.

We’re always stronger when we work together! Construction of Affirmative Ventures’ $16 million Main Street Centre is underway with support from all orders of government.
