I’m encouraging children across Dartmouth-Cole Harbour to take part in Valentines for Vets!
For the past 25 years, kids across Canada have been taking part, to show Veterans how grateful they are for the sacrifices they’ve made. The valentines always bring smiles and so much joy.
This is a great program for parents, guardians, and teachers to help children craft small messages of appreciation for Veterans. It can be in English or French, with a few words of thanks for one of the service people who helped build the Canada that we’re all so lucky to live in today.
Mail your hand-made valentines by February 1 to:
Valentines for Vets
Veterans Affairs Canada
Commemoration, Distribution Unit
125 Maple Hills Avenue
Charlottetown, PE C1C 0B6
Veterans Affairs Canada will be mailing the valentines to Veterans in long-term care facilities all across Canada.
The solitude of the past year has been hard on many of our Veterans. So let’s show them how much they mean to us by sending them a valentine.
