It’s hard to imagine that it’s been 11 years since we gathered in that hanger at 12-Wing Shearwater to say goodbye to Petty Officer Second Class Craig Blake.

I can tell you that 11 years later, Craig is still loved and very missed by his family and by our community.

Craig served with honour and pride alongside his comrades in Afghanistan. He loved healthy activity like diving and cycling. And he was a very active community volunteer, even winning “Coach of the Year” through the Dartmouth Whalers.
