It’s National AccessAbility Week, and the Perfect Time to Announce that Two Streams of the Enabling Accessibility Fund are Open for Proposals!

This is the same fund that provided accessible washrooms at Mic Mac AAC, and the amazing EZ Dock at Shubie Park that helps paddlers of all abilities easily enter and exit the water.

Mid-sized project component

Up to $1 Million to support larger retrofit and construction projects in facilities that house programs and services to help increase both social and job opportunities for persons with disabilities.

Youth Innovation component

We’re challenging all young Canadians aged 15-30 to partner with local organizations, and share their their brilliant ideas for accessibility projects in their community. Up to $10,000 per project.
