We delivered $30 million to COVE to establish Canada’s first maritime Defence Innovation Secure Hub in Dartmouth NS

JUST ANNOUNCED:
An investment of almost $30 million to establish Canada’s first maritime Defence Innovation Secure Hub (DISH) at COVE in Dartmouth—Cole Harbour.

Atlantic Canada is a culture of innovation, and COVE is helping drive Canada’s ocean technology sector. This new secure hub will strengthen collaboration between innovators, researchers, and defence partners, reinforcing COVE’s role as a national asset in advancing maritime security and technology.

COVE’s unique location on the sheltered shores of beautiful Dartmouth Cove — with direct access to the North Atlantic — makes our community the perfect home for this first-of-its-kind secure facility.

Like I always say, folks in Dartmouth—Cole Harbour are doing big things, and I’m thrilled to see these new opportunities coming to our region.
