JUST ANNOUNCED:
The Government of Canada is providing an extra $355 Million to Nova Scotia for better health care!
The newly signed bilateral agreement will:
- Ensure better access to primary health care
- Reduce wait times and backlogs
- Provide better access to mental health services
- Ensure greater access to health data
Nova Scotians deserve to access the health care they need when they need it!
This funding will help the province tackle wait times in emergency rooms, wait times to access primary care, wait times for surgeries and procedures, and it will help ensure better access to mental health care.
Plus, for better transparency, the province must provide yearly updates to show Nova Scotians how this federal funding is being used to improve care.
