We’re getting more homes built in Dartmouth—Cole Harbour!
Today, I announced that our government has partnered with Millbrook First Nation to help build a new 68-unit apartment building with one, two, and three-bedroom rental homes through the Affordable Housing Fund.
It was great spending time with Chief Gloade today at Millbrook First Nation to celebrate more housing coming to Cole Harbour. I love seeing that this new development will include accessible and below-market housing as well.
To me, this announcement isn’t about dollar figures or units — it’s about building more homes for individuals and families who want to live in this wonderful community.
Chief Gloade also highlighted today that Millbrook has officially met its Housing Accelerator Fund commitments and exceeded targets, helping build multiple new homes—including deeply affordable homes—on-reserve for community members.
