78th Anniversary of the Battle of the Atlantic: we remember Canada and Newfoundland’s sacrifices and the lives lost

Taking place between 1939 and 1945, the Battle of the Atlantic was the longest and continuous battle of WW2.

Canada and Newfoundland lost thousands of lives to this long and brutal battle.

Thank you to the volunteers who organize the ceremony in Commodore Park, every year, to mark the anniversary of the Battle of the Atlantic.
