A short while ago I visited the Shearwater Aviation Museum and was blown away by how awesome it was. (Read the blog here)
You know, every time one of the kids had hockey practice at the Shearwater Rink, I killed time at Tim Hortons. If I had known that this amazing museum was there I’d have stopped in!
After that visit I was so excited to host an open house to showcase how great the place is.
I was thrilled that so many of you stopped by the Shearwater Aviation Museum on Saturday.
We had an amazing time! So many folks hadn’t thought of visiting the museum before. And some folks hadn’t even heard of it! The museum is rich with Canadian aviation history.
The tours are truly spectacular and the entrance fee is by donation only.
If you weren’t able to join us I do hope you’ll visit them soon.
