We know that COVID-19 has been rough on small business owners, and their employees. And that’s why we’ve continued to support them throughout this pandemic, and we won’t stop now.
The 2nd wave is here, and to help businesses through this challenging time, and to keep folks employed, we’re extending the Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy to June 2021! And we’ve proposed to increase the maximum subsidy rate back to 75%!
Let’s do what we can to support our local small businesses as they adapt to public health measures. We have so many incredible small businesses throughout Dartmouth-Cole Harbour, and I hope you’ll consider supporting them too! Plus, we have SO many great restaurants offering take out right now. It’s tough to pick a place to order from!
