We believe in making smart investments so our tradespeople have what they need to be successful and safe in their field.

The UA Local 56 Training Centre in Dartmouth makes sure apprentices get the skills they need for today’s job sites. Plus they’re helping experienced tradespeople refresh and improve their skills.

Recently I had the opportunity to see the Government of Canada’s investments at UA Local 56 in action.

And I’m pleased to say that our Government is investing an additional $63,161 in UA Local 56 through the Union Training and Innovation Program so they can continue to support the needs of skilled tradespeople in our community!

This is a great addition to the $106,972 investment we delivered UA Local 56 last year.
