JUST ANNOUNCED:
Nature and outdoor spaces inspire us. We know that spending time outside is good for our health. And this pandemic has shown how important safe outdoor spaces are for our kids!
That’s why our Government is providing funding, this year, for every public elementary school across Nova Scotia to build outdoor learning spaces.
Schools will be able to access funding to create school gardens, nature-based outdoor seating areas, shelters and outdoor performance areas.
Our Government is investing $5.6 million towards this project through Infrastructure Canada’s COVID-19 Resilience Stream.
This will leave a lasting positive legacy for Nova Scotian students.
