I brought Minister Bill Morneau to the Dartmouth North Community Food Centre last week. This place really matters to me and I’m glad I could show it off to the Minister of Finance. This is a welcoming space where folks come together to grow, cook, share and advocate for good food. The Community Food Centre provides people with access to high quality food in a dignified setting that doesn’t compromise their self worth. Folks learn to garden, cook and focus on healthy food. That’s just a small taste of what this Centre has to offer. Worth showing off!!
