Dartmouth’s Lake Banook is an international, world-class race course. Last week I had a chance to show the Minister of Science and Sport, the Hon. Kirsty Duncan how incredible this place is, and to have her meet the Canoe 2022 planning team and some of our super athletes!
Lake Banook is hosting the 2022 Canoe Sprint World Championships, and the Committee is making sure the lake and the facilities are ready.
It was great to hear more of their plans for Lake Banook’s future too. Folks are dreaming big here in Dartmouth.
