Folks are doing incredible work tackling the issues of poverty, at-risk youth, literacy, health and affordable housing in our community.
I invited the Minister of Families, Children and Social Development, Jean-Yves Duclos to the Dartmouth North Community Food Centre to learn more about what these incredible organizations have to offer!
I’m always blown away by the good work of the Dartmouth North Community Food Centre and Dartmouth Family Centre- and I knew it would be a great place to show the Minister.
Minister Duclos deeply cares about organizations like these. He was thrilled to learn more about the “The Take Action Society” and the super work of Heather, Quinn and the team at the MacPhee Centre for Creative Learning.
Dartmouth North is filled with community-minded people who care. Good things are happening on the #BrightSide.
