The deal has officially been signed folks, the Canadian Surface Combatant (CSC) ships will be designed by Lockheed Martin Canada, and built by Irving Shipbuilding at the Halifax Shipyard!
All 15 of the Canadian Surface Combatant ships will be built here in Nova Scotia.
Shipbuilders at Irving are working hard on the Arctic Offshore Patrol ships, and will get started on the Canadian Surface Combatants in the early 2020s.
Great to see this important project for our Royal Canadian Navy moving forward.
